Here are a few things from my desk . I’m loving rose gold currently, the bracelet with stones from Dyrberg/Kern and the other is from H&M. I also found this cool marble plate in Magazine, it is perfect for layering my jewellery! For inspiration, I love looking in The Sartorialist’s book, it is filled with interesting personalities and outfits. It is not exactly high season for flowers, but found these fun cabbage flowers at the local florist, love the green and purple hues.
Cropped top & pants: H&M – Jewellery: Chanti – Shoes: Dune
I’ve jumped into the trend with cropped tops, and as you can see, I have a 90s relic, a navel piercing ^ _ ^. Omg it’s been really long since I’ve flashed it, any of yoou that have “hidden stuff” from the “wild youth” days?
Anyways, so it has also been updated and is now on trend with the pearl fashion, that is seen all around these days . I found it at Chanti, it is in 9 carat gold with a cute white freshwater pearl. So now my belly is also sporting the latest fashion;). Do you have a hole in your belly button? If so you can see all the navel piercings from Chanti here, and that I have with the pearl here.
I love Julie Sandlau’s fine jewelry! Not so long ago I went to a cozy event at the store on Strandvejen. Julie told us about the start-up of the company and the jewelery while we drank pink bubbles and had some yummy Rawfood tapas . Perla is the latest collection which is beautiful gold-plated jewelry with lovely white pearls! I am completely in love with the rings from the Mermaid colleagues too, with sumptuous pink and green stones. Another of my favorites is the bird of paradise gold earrings with gold chains hanging down, so fab!Julie has also created a “Breaking The Poverty Cycle” . She is wearing it on picture 5. The whole amount from sales of this bracelet, goes to a large training program near Hanoi City, where Julie has her own jewelry factory. This means that 100 vulnerable children in Vietnam will have the possibility of going safely to school, so amazing! See more jewelry at juliesandlau.com.
Last week I stopped by Dyrberg/Kern’s showroom, where they presented the upcoming AW14 collection, Rites Of Passage. The collection is inspired by both graceful equestrian lifestyle, which is full of elegance and aesthetics. And change or transition, like day to night, summer to winter and girl to woman. The jewelery is full of personality. Beautiful statement necklaces, chunky bracelets with large stones, lovely pearl necklaces and sparkling cocktail rings. My favorite is the beautiful red earrings on picture 10, so beautiful with the large crystal. The collection is in stores this autumn. And now you can also shop online at Dyrberg/Kern’s new web shop right here.
